Popup Calendar Lite
A very handy application that adds a calendar to your desktop.
Popup Calendar Lite is a very handy application that adds a calendar to your desktop, showing you the current date and time.
Once the application is launched, its icon appears in the system tray, which allows you to open or hide it at any moment with a single click. In the calendar window you can adjust years and months. There you can also find the button, copying the current date to the clipboard. Although basic, it allows some customization. For example, you can change the calendar color and font size, select different tray icon layouts, set a day to start the week, and choose among several predefined date formats, with the opportunity to create your own format. You can also determine its location on the screen. What is more, hovering over the tray icon with the mouse activates a tooltip displaying the current date. This tooltip can be fully configured to show the date and time in different formats, and it is possible to add comments as well.
The application is free, lightweight, and definitely looks better than the one that comes with Windows.
